Having investigated the best possible means of aiding students, industry body Consulting Engineers South Africa (Cesa) has established a bursary fund, with a first intake of about 20 students expected for the 2018 academic year. Cesa CEO Chris Campbell explains that, previously many Cesa member companies provided bursaries as part of their corporate social responsibility programmes. However, this new fund aims to consolidate the efforts of member companies by establishing a Cesa-run fund for qualifying engineering students.
