JSE-listed equipment supplier Barloworld has appointed Neo Dongwana as independent chairperson following her endorsement by shareholders at the company’s annual general meeting (AGM). She is the first woman to chair the board in the company’s 118 years of existence, and takes over from Advocate Dumisa Ntsebeza, who has been a member of the Barloworld board for over twenty years, and chairperson for 12.
